Ethan Hawke’s Diary Entry #1

February 23rd, 2010  |  Published in Random by ethan  |  2 Comments

Dear Diary,

Today i took my mum to do her groceries like i do every Wednesday
after yoga – she likes it when i push the trolley. While she was in
the fruit section i dashed over to the toiletries aisle to see if they
stocked my favourite hair product. Sometimes i like sneaking things
like Just Right and Ski yoghurt into the trolley without my mum
noticing. On the way home this man in a van cut me off and i yelled
out the window ‘don’t do that’. Today was a great day.

I wrote a poem to commemorate it:

kms sticky hair foam, no need for a comb
mummy’s trolley boy feels free to roam
driving a hybrid is such a delight
hey man in the van! you gave me such a fright!

I dedicate this poem to my mum.

xx, Ethan
